ICS: a safe company to do business with according to CHAS

ICS is pleased to announce that, once again, our detailed and comprehensive Health and Safety policies and procedures have been recognised and accredited by the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).  CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK.  It is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers and to organisations looking for suitably competent suppliers.  

CHAS isn’t just for construction companies; it assesses health and safety for all types of suppliers, from care services to demolition contractors, designers and consultants. The aim of the scheme is to save time and resources by avoiding unnecessary duplication in the first stage of competence assessment.

Nikki Evans, ICS’ Health and Safety Manager says, “At ICS we have always taken the health and safety of our customers and staff very seriously. We constantly review and improve policies, procedures and training, ensuring that we operate to the highest of standards. To have this recognized independently is a great achievement and will not only save customers time in pre contract assessment, but also will give them an added confidence in working with ICS.”
